Registration opens on June 1, 2010.
Freddy’s Commuter Challenge is an online program designed to encourage ‘alternative commuting’ . The goal of the program is for all participants together to achieve 100,000 alternative commutes over the challenge period. To symbolize progress an icon of Freddy (the famous fountains ‘nude dude’) will progress along a 100,000 commute path with each step being triggered by the entry of one alternative commute.
Freddy’s Commuter Challenge is supported by Green Matters and in motion.
Clean Bin Project Film Screening
September 3, 2010 at 7pm Charlotte Street Arts Centre
The Conservation Council of New Brunswick and Green Matters Fredericton are hosting a film screening of the Clean Bin Project; a documentary which presents the serious topic of waste reduction with optimism, humour, and inspiration for individual action. Join the stars of the film, Jen and Grant, as they cycle through the country to show their film! September 3rd from 7-9pm at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, 732 Charlotte St.
Admission is by donation and ALL proceeds go towards supporting their tour across Canada.
